Google Meet is our go-to video conferencing system. Follow these Google Meet tips when connecting remotely with colleagues and clients:
- Send the following link to your clients to help them connect with the Google Meet:
Google Meet: Join a video meeting -
Keep your camera on: Use Google Meet with your camera turned on to be more ‘present’ when connecting with colleagues and clients.
-
Adjust your definition: If you experience audio and video delays while working remotely, reduce the quality of your video calls to ‘standard definition’. Follow this guide to change your video quality. If you still experience delays, turn your camera off and just use audio.
-
Mute your microphone: On group calls, mute your microphone when you are not talking.
-
Use your headset: Use an approved headset for a high quality audio experience. For example, avoid using in car bluetooth systems as the connection and quality will make it difficult for participants to hear.
